What's new?
The MSBA Board of Directors votes to move Stow out of “regionalization” category and into “feasibility” study
category during Board Meeting on April 2, 2008.  According to MSBA Spokeswoman Carrie Sullivan, “we
exhausted that idea [of regionalization] to the point where we felt that was not an option for Stow.”  Now Stow
can “sit down and start working with us over the most sensible solution to its problems,” explained Sullivan.
Stow’s next steps are:
  • To sign an ICC (initial certificate of compliance) on rules to be followed through the feasibility process.
  • To hire an OPM (owner’s project manager) to oversee project planning (subject to MSBA’s review and
    approval).
  • To update enrollment projections for the schools in all three district towns.

The Master Plan (from previous years’ work) was also submitted to the MSBA to show that a good portion of
the feasibility study has already been done.
Important Dates:
  • April 28, 2008 - The next ESBC meeting has been tentatively scheduled for Monday, April 28, 7:30pm
    at Town Building.
